Ryder Logistics Experts to Discuss the Future of Digital Supply Chains at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) 2018 Retail Supply Chain Conference

Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in commercial fleet management, dedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions, today announced that it will participate at the RILA (Retail Industry Leaders Association) 2018 Retail Supply Chain Conference, which will take place February 25-28, 2018, at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Ryder Vice President and General Manager for Retail and Consumer Brands, Tom Kretschmer, will moderate a panel session titled “Sneak Peek into the Future: Digital Supply Chain.” In addition, Ryder Group Director for Product Development and Innovation, Tom Kroswek, will be a panelist on the same session where the two Ryder logistics experts will discuss how future supply chains will rely on a strategic mix of innovative technology to deliver end-to-end execution, control, and agility. The session, which will be held on February 26 at 3pm CST during RILA, will explore supply chain innovations, such as smart warehousing technology, real-time visibility, big data, and the digital supply chain as well as discuss how they’re expected to improve efficiency, visibility, accuracy, and flexibility for customers within the retail industry.
