Great American Group Appraisal Names Drew Jakubek and Bill Soncini National Marketing Managers
Focuses firm resources on expanding opportunities and synergies across the B. Riley Financial Platform
LOS ANGELES, Jan. 24, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Great American Group Advisory & Valuation Services, LLC (“Great American Group Appraisal”), a leading provider of advisory and valuation services, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of B. Riley Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: RILY), announced today that it has named Drew Jakubek and Bill Soncini as National Marketing Managers of the firm’s Advisory and Valuation Services business.
As National Marketing Managers, Mr. Jakubek and Mr. Soncini will be responsible for expanding the firm’s Appraisal and Valuation opportunities with existing and potential clients, including lenders, C-suite executives, and private equity groups across the United States. As part of this effort, they will also seek to identify synergistic opportunities across the B. Riley Financial platform, fortifying the firm’s position on providing full service, end-to-end solutions to companies across every sector.

Mr. Jakubek serves as Managing Director of Great American Group Appraisal covering the firm’s Southwest region. Mr. Jakubek brings over 25 years of industry experience and has held multiple industry roles including chief financial officer, investment bank and turnaround consulting. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Jakubek served as Vice President and Business Development Officer with National City Business Credit, where he focused on asset-based loans ranging from $10 million to $200 million. Prior to that, he founded and served as Managing Partner of the Private Equity Forum. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics and his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Mr. Soncini serves as Managing Director of Great American Group Appraisal specializing in developing and enhancing client relationships in the Midwest market. He has more than 17 years of experience in business valuations, operations, financial reporting, strategic development and systems management. Prior to rejoining the firm, Mr. Soncini served as the Director of Operations for Peak Capital Group, a real estate investment fund, where he was responsible for consolidating multiple entities and fostering growth. Mr. Soncini started his career at Great American Group Appraisal in an operations capacity, working as an inventory appraiser in the food and chemicals verticals. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
