Wolters Kluwer Enhances Search Functionality for Clients of OneSumX NILS INsource® Tool

Wolters Kluwer today announced the addition of new functionality to its online research product, OneSumX NILS INsource, that expands its search capability by providing a more comprehensive way to search for insurance compliance content. NILS INsource is an online regulatory research tool tailored to compliance, government relations, legal and regulatory affairs professionals working in the insurance industry.

New enhancements include:

  • The introduction of access to index terms related to the search, and the ability to easily access insurance concepts to find more accurate results
  • Refined search results using the “What’s New?” date filter, thereby saving insurers time via functionality that highlights recent legislative and regulatory developments
  • Search capabilities across premium content fields and the ability to filter search results, based on priority fields for premium users.

“Insurance compliance professionals face a considerable challenge in keeping pace with the myriad number and sheer volume of changing statutes, regulations, and guidance documents across multiple jurisdictions,” said Chuck Ross, Vice President and General Manager, Investment Compliance and Compliance Program Management at Wolters Kluwer. “With this enhanced search functionality, OneSumX NILS INsource speeds insurers’ searches and saves time, providing regulatory intelligence and research that is critical to the business of insurance. In short, these enhancements help ensure that users get the focused content results needed for effective compliance.”

In addition, the new ability to search and filter premium content by priority, requirements, and topics allows premium content subscribers to gain greater insight than ever before into what regulatory changes will impact their business.

OneSumX NILS INsource provides compliance professionals in the insurance industry with the ability to easily look up indexed state statutes, regulations and advisory publications for addressing compliance questions quickly and accurately. Today, more than 4,000 insurance professionals use OneSumX NILS INsource to support their compliance efforts.
