Olympic Steel Promotes Brace Moran to General Manager of Integrity Stainless – Latrobe Facility

Olympic Steel Inc. (Nasdaq: ZEUS), a leading national metals service center, announced the promotion of Brace Moran to General Manager of Integrity Stainless – Latrobe, effective April 3.

Moran started at Olympic Steel in 2011 as Sales Manager for the Integrity Stainless in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. In that role, he focused on business development and was responsible for increasing sales volume and new customer acquisition.

Prior to joining Olympic Steel, Moran was employed for 11 years at Toma Metals, Inc., a diversified metals processor and distributor based in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. There he served in positions with increasing responsibility including Purchasing Manager, Warehouse Manager, and Sales Representative.

“With the rapid growth and increasing market share experienced by our Specialty Metals segment, we have created a GM position to specifically oversee our Latrobe facility,” said Andy Markowitz, President – Specialty Metals. “In his new role, Brace will be responsible for continuing the profitable growth of our stainless-steel business. In addition, he will oversee stainless steel flat bar products, which have been recently re-deployed to Latrobe. We look forward to his future contributions in this new role.”

Jerry Gideon remains General Manager of the Integrity Stainless – Streetsboro, Ohio, facility, a position he has held since 2014. Both Gideon and Moran will report to Markowitz.
