The patent publication highlights the potential of a 5-methoxy-2-aminoindane (MEAI)-Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) combination to offer a safe, non-hallucinogenic neuroplastogen treatment for two major global health challenges: obesity, affecting over adults worldwide, and MASLD, impacting approximately .
