NUEVA YORK, Oct. 29, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tras la catastrófica llegada hoy a Jamaica del huracán Melissa, de categoría 5, Verizon está ayudando a sus clientes a mantenerse en contacto con sus familiares y seres queridos.

Desde el 28 de octubre hasta el 12 de noviembre de 2025, Verizon no cobrará las llamadas internacionales de clientes residenciales y de pequeños negocios* (inalámbricos y de línea fija) hacia Jamaica, Turks y Caicos, y las Bahamas.

Además, los clientes en Jamaica, Turks y Caicos, y las Bahamas, tendrán llamadas, textos y roaming de datos por nuestra cuenta. Esto también incluye a los clientes de las marcas prepagadas propiedad de Verizon, como Straight Talk, Tracfone, Total by Verizon, Simple Mobile, Safelink, Walmart Family Mobile, Net10, GoSmart y Page Plus.
