AUAU: Taylor Mineralization Supports District Opportunity; Preparing Drill Targets

What you need to know:
• A2Gold provided a technical overview of the antimony mineralization at its newly acquired Taylor Gold Project in White Pine County, Nevada.
• The Company has identified two distinct styles of antimony mineralization across the property and highlights high-grade historical production from two past-producing mines on the property.
• Since our last research note, AUAU also reported that it has entered into a binding LOI to acquire 26 inlier lode claims within the central portion of the Taylor land package.
• AUAU continues to advance its several projects, and we expect a news-heavy year for the Company.

The Company frames Taylor within an emerging regional gold-antimony belt and points to geophysical evidence from recent airborne magnetic and IP surveys suggesting a potential underlying porphyry source. The coexistence of the two mineralization styles, which we expand on below, supports the interpretation of a hydrothermal system on the property.

Exploration Plans
A2Gold is advancing drill targeting at Taylor to test the relationship between the antimony mineralization styles, the broader gold system, and potential intrusive drivers. The program is designed to run antimony-focused drilling concurrently with gold-oriented programs, with three core objectives: 1) drill test priority antimony targets identified through geochemistry and geophysics, 2) evaluate the relationship between antimony and gold mineralization, and 3) assess whether antimony mineralization can be incorporated in future resource estimates.

Separately, earlier this week, A2Gold entered a binding LOI to acquire 26 inlier lode mining claims within the central portion of the Taylor land package, eliminating internal land fragmentation and strengthening the Company’s ability to advance Taylor as a cohesive district-scale project.
