GIGA: Geophysical Survey at Attic Zone; A New Frontier for Exploration

What you need to know:
• Giga Metals announced positive geophysical results at its Turnagain Nickel-Cobalt Project in northern BC.
• The survey targeted copper, platinum, and palladium potential in the Attic Zone, near the existing resource (~1km).
• GIGA is planning fully funded EM surveys in H1/26 to derive drill targets.
• The Company recently closed its non-brokered private placement, raising C$1.55M using flow-through and non-flow-through units.

Yesterday, after market close, Giga Metals (GIGA:TSXV, GIGGF:OTC) announced the results of its Magnetotelluric (MT) geophysical survey at its Turnagain Project in northern British Columbia. This program was completed on the underexplored Attic Zone, which presents substantial exploration upside across various metals, including copper, platinum, and palladium. The survey identifies changes in rock resistivity and is useful for mapping the shape and structure of large ultramafic intrusions. The results suggest that the intrusion at the Attic Zone is intact and upright, with several key geological contacts, especially the basal contact, which is still completely untested with drilling.

This excites us as these contacts are classic places where copper and PGM group metals can accumulate, and the new data will guide future airborne electromagnetic (EM) surveys and future drill programs. We will highlight that this builds exciting potential beyond the already large nickel-cobalt resource that lies less than 1km away. For more information on the Turnagain Ni-Co Project, read our initiation report here. We are maintaining our BUY rating and target price of C$0.30/share on Giga Metals Corporation.

Key Takeaways:
• New Exploration Upside Emerging: The new data supports an ‘up-facing’ intrusive body with an untested basal contact (structural setting that can concentrate higher-grade Cu-PGE mineralization). This meaningfully expands the exploration potential beyond the Ni-Co resource at Turnagain.
• Targets Previously Unknown: The survey detected low-resistivity features that older EM surveys could not penetrate deeply enough to identify. This suggests the potential for new concealed targets.
• New Drill Targets: Giga will follow up this work with a fully funded program of additional MT surveys, followed by EM surveys to derive drill targets.
