OMG: Wenot Drilling Highlighted by 11.48 g/t over 10.2m
What you need to know:
• Omai released drill results for an additional eight holes at its Omai Gold project in Guyana, intersecting mineralization in each hole.
• Results were highlighted by Hole 25ODD-150 in central Wenot, where OMG intersected 11.48 g/t Au over 10.2m.
• 31 additional holes were drilled in 2025 since the August MRE, which will be included in an updated MRE that OMG expects to release in Q1.
• As a reminder, the updated MRE is expected to be followed up with the release of an expanded PEA in Q2, integrating both the Wenot open pit and Gilt Creek underground deposit.
This morning, Omai Gold Mines (OMG:TSXV, OMGGF:OTC) released assays from an additional eight holes from its 2025 drill program, and the remaining results from the 2025 drill program are expected shortly. Multiple zones of mineralization were intersected in each of the eight holes, with a highlight of 11.48 g/t Au over 10.2m (25ODD-150) in Central Wenot. The hole also intersected 10.65 g/t Au over 9.0m in a separate zone.
Omai drilled a total of 35,300m (79 holes) in 2025, of which 31 were completed after the August MRE. The additional drilling will be included in the updated MRE expected to come this quarter. Further, drilling started back up last week with three drill rigs, which will focus on expansion targets at Wenot. This will include the high-grade zone discovered in the east of Wenot, which previously intersected 11.07 g/t Au over 14.7m, while continuing to target areas that remain open between -300 and 450m of depth, and infilling Wenot’s substantial Inferred resource. We are maintaining our BUY rating and target price of $2.40/share on Omai Gold Mines.
