Co. operates under a Dual Listed Company (DLC) structure, which consists of the BHP Billiton Limited Group and the BHP Billiton Plc Group, operating as a single economic entity. As of June 30 2017, Co. operated four reportable segments: Petroleum, which is involved in the exploration, development and production of oil and gas; Copper, which is involved in the mining of copper, silver, lead, zinc, molybdenum, uranium and gold; Iron ore, which is involved in the mining of iron ore; and Coal, which is involved in the mining of metallurgical coal and thermal (energy) coal.

Eramet is a mining and metallurgical group, which specializes in the extraction, production and marketing of non-ferrous metals, their chemical derivatives, alloys and superalloys, and parts. Co.'s operations are divided into three divisions: Nickel division which focuses on nickel and its derivative applications; Manganese division which focuses on manganese alloys, manganese chemical derivatives and provides recovery and recycling services of metals contained in oil-industry catalysts, electric batteries and acid solutions; and Alloys division which produces and sells special high-performance steels, superalloys and pre-machined parts based on these materials or aluminium and titanium.

Etablissements FR Colruyt is engaged in wholesale, food service, distribution of fuels, production of electricity and digital printing. Co. has three operating segments: retail, which relates to stores under Co.'s own management which directly sell to retail customers and bulk consumers; wholesale and foodservice, which supplies to wholesalers, commercial customers and affiliated independent merchants; and other activities, which operates gas stations, engaged in printing and document management and provides alternative energy.

H & M Hennes & Mauritz is engaged in the sale of clothing and cosmetics in Sweden and internationally. Co.'s stores offer basics, tailored classics, sportswear, and maternity clothes for women; basics, leisurewear, and seasonal fashions for men; denim and street fashions; and fashion wear for children and teenagers, as well as accessories, underwear, and shoes. Co. also provides makeup and body care products; and home fashion products, which include interior textiles for the bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Co. has approximately 3,132 stores, including 110 franchise stores, 85 COS stores, 79 Monki stores, 21 Weekday stores, 8 & Other Stories stores and 3 Cheap Monday stores.

Henkel business comprised of Laundry & Home Care, Beauty Care, and Adhesive Technologies. Co.'s Laundry & Home Care business unit include laundry and home care Branded Consumer Goods business. The Laundry Care business includes heavy-duty and specialty detergents, fabric softeners, laundry performance enhancers, and other fabric care products. Co.'s Beauty Care business unit is active in the Branded Consumer Goods business with Hair Cosmetics, Body Care, Skin Care, Oral Care, and professional Hair Salon business. Co.'s Adhesive Technologies business unit provides solutions with adhesives, sealants and functional coatings in two business areas: Industry; and Consumer, Craftsmen and Building.

Iberdrola is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. operates in four segments: network business, which includes all the energy transmission and distribution activities, and other regulated activity originated in Spain, the U.K., the U.S. and Brazil; deregulated business, which includes electricity generation and sales businesses as well as gas trading and storage businesses carried on by Co. in Spain, Portugal, the U.K. and North America; renewable business, with activities related to renewable energies in Spain, the U.K., the U.S. and the rest of the world; and other businesses, including the engineering and construction businesses and the non-power businesses.

Moncler is a jacket and sportswear production group based in Italy. Co. directly produces and distributes its own clothing and accessories collections, through its direct boutiques and exclusive department and multibrand stores. Co. branded products range from the high fashion segment with the Gamme Rouge and Gamme Bleu collections (exclusive products and selected distribution to boutiques) to the Grenoble collection (sporting and technical garments). As of Dec 31 2013, Co. operated a network of 135 stores, including 107 directly operated stores (DOS) and 28 wholesale stores (27 shop-in-shop and 1 franchise store).

Rio Tinto is engaged in finding, mining and processing mineral resources. Co. has four product groups: iron ore, which supplies the global seaborne iron ore trade; aluminium, which includes bauxite mines, alumina refineries, and aluminium smelters; Copper and Diamonds, which has managed operations in Australia, Canada, Mongolia and the U.S., and non-managed operations in Chile and Indonesia, with by-product including gold, silver, molybdenum and others such as sulphuric acid, rhenium, and lead carbonate; and Energy and Minerals, which comprises mining, refining and marketing operations across borates, coal, iron ore concentrate and pellets, salt, titanium dioxide and uranium sectors.

Total is an international integrated oil and gas company also active in solar and biomass energy sources. Co. engages all aspects of the petroleum industry, including Upstream operations (oil and gas exploration, development and production, and LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas)) and Downstream operations (refining, petrochemicals, specialty chemicals, marketing and marketing and trading and shipping of crude oil and petroleum products). In addition, Co. is engaged in the coal mining and power generation sectors. Co.'s worldwide operations are conducted through three business segments: Upstream, Refining & Chemicals, and Marketing & Services.
