KSE-100: Bullish session amidst good volumes
Market View — Technical
The index opened amid runaway gap and remained bullish throughout the last trading session. The local bourse posted an intraday high of 831pts and concluded with a gain of 720pts to settle at 41,191pts. The volumes clocked in the last trading session were comparatively higher than the previous trading session. Among the strength indicators, RSI (Relative Strength Index) has just reached its highest value in the last 14 trading sessions. This cements a positive view for the next trading sessions. Volatility is high as compared to the average volatility over the last ten trading sessions.
The chart formation depicts that the index may find initial support near 40,800. A break below mentioned support can result into further weakness towards 40,500 and 40,100pts level. Alternatively, the index can face resistance near 41,550pts initially and then head towards 41,800 and 42,200 area. It is recommended to accumulate positions on weakness with risk defined below support zone.
