KSE-100: Closes with a positive bias
Market View — Technical
The index opened on a positive note and remained bullish throughout the last trading session. The local bourse posted a high of 194pts and concluded with a gain of 130pts to settle at 46,757pts. The volumes witnessed in the last trading session were comparatively lower than the previous trading session. The Index is consolidating above 5-SMA on daily chart and has approached near 50-SMA but could not manage to close above it. Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently showing a reading at 58.60. MACD is trading in the positive territory.
The chart formation depicts that the index may find initial support near 46,300. A break below mentioned support can result into further weakness towards 46,000 and 45,700pts level. Alternatively, the index can face resistance near 46,850pts initially and then head towards 47,200 and 47,500 area. It is recommended to accumulate positions on weakness and adopt a cautious approach.
