A performance to salute in a particularly aggressive competitive Moroccan environment
As expected, 9M 2015 IAM’s achievements were marked by the positive contribution of the new African subsidiaries. On September 30, 2015, Maroc Telecom recorded an increase in 9M 2015 revenues (+16.6%, yoy) to reach MAD25.503bn due to the integration of six new African subsidiaries in the the group's consolidation scope, since January 26, 2015, (vs. 16.5% expected for the whole year). In Morocco, revenues recorded a slight decrease by 0.2% following further price cuts in the mobile segment (Mobile revenues fell by 5.9%) despite sustained growth in Fixed and Internet activities (+9.6%), thanks to the continued increase in Fixed (+6.8%) and broadband (+15.5%) parks.
