IAM’s H1 2016 achievements were marked by the good performance of the African subsidiaries and the confirmation of return to revenue growth in Morocco. In H1 2016, Maroc Telecom recorded an increase in revenues (+6.1%, yoy) to reach MAD17.593bn, driven by, both, the development of the international activities and by the growth resumption in Morocco, (vs. 2.7% expected for the whole year). Indeed, in the Kingdom, revenues have been growing since the beginning of the year (+1.7%, yoy), supported by the good performance of Fixed and Internet activities (4.1%) offsetting the 3.1% decrease in the Mobile revenue following further price cuts in the mobile segment.
