Focus on ad efficiency driving strong profits

Q1 revenue/EPS beat, but room night growth fell short - both for Q1 and Q2 guidance - as Booking prioritises profits over growth as the current best way to maximise returns. With this strategy still resulting in healthy underlying profit growth, potential for topline acceleration in H2, Booking's competitive position strengthening as meta players fade and valn increasingly attractive after the -7% a/hrs drop, we remain O'weight.
