One-off expenses offset stronger unit revenues

Q417 EPS of $0.77 (+3% YoY) was in-line with consensus and below AE at $0.83, as a strong Q4 RASM result of 1.9% was offset by a number of one-off expenses. Looking into FY18, we are encouraged by LUV's "flat to down 1%" CASM-Ex guidance, given the company had previously advised that YoY CASM-Ex declines "would be a stretch".
