Schaft Creek: 2025 Program Commences
Copper Fox and Teck Resources have launched the 2025 field program at Schaft Creek, consisting of drilling, geophysical surveys (to assess areas for the rock storage facility), conducting archaeological and baseline environmental data collection, and completing the required upgrades to the field camp facilities. Additionally, a compilation of the technical data collected between 2021 and 2024, including metallurgical, geotechnical, archeological, and environmental data, will lead to a review to determine project readiness to progress to the PFS stage.
Program Highlights:
• Drilling has commenced south of the Liard Zone to collect data for the proposed rock storage facility
• Baseline environmental data collection and archaeological investigations
• Continued initiatives to strengthen collaboration and engagement with the Tahltan Nation through the support of education, youth athletics, and cultural training
• Camp upgrades including renewable power supply (solar)
