New Zealand Energy (NZ CN)C: Financial update – New Zealand has received short term loans totalling C$0.48 mm from Charlestown Energy Partners and a company controlled by New Zealand’s Chairman. The loans, which were issued with an original issuance discount of 10%. are unsecured and non-convertible, with interest payable at 15% per annum and repayment is due on August 27, 2025, The company now intends to complete a private placement.

Zephyr Energy (ZPHR LN)C: Equity raise and acquisition – Zephyr has raised £10.5 mm of new equity at £0.03 per share. The proceeds of the raise will fund (1) a £5.4 mm acquisition of 0.6 mmboe 2P and ~400 boe/d net production in the Rocky Mountains and (2) working capital and capex through to first production at its flagship Paradox Basin development..

AMERICAS

Diversified Energy (DEC LN/US): Partnership with Carlyle – Diversified and Carlyle have entered into a strategic partnership to invest in up to $2 bn in existing proved developed producing natural gas and oil assets across the United States.

NG Energy (GASX CN): Operating update in Colombia – Current gross production at Sinu-9 is 12 mmcf/d which is expected to be maintained throughout 2Q25 and increase to over 40 mmcf/d of production capacity in 3Q25. Overall net production in 1Q25 was 8.6 mmcf/d. The downhole obstruction at Maria Conchita could not be removed through fishing and a workover and recompletion of the Aruchara-3 well is required to return the well to its previous production volumes.

Touchstone Exploration (TXP LN/CN): ~2/3rd of proceeds from equity raise still outstanding – £10.325 mmm of the £15.375 mmm in gross proceeds from the private placement announced 16 May 2025 remains outstanding. The company believes that the outstanding funds could be received on 27 June 2025.

ASIA AND AUSTRALASIA

Repsol (REP SM): Selling asset in Indonesia – Repsol is selling its 24% WI in the Corridor Block in Indonesia to Medco Energi for US$425 mm. Corridor is a gas-producing asset located onshore Sumatra. In 2024, it contributed ~19,000 boe/d and 26 mmboe reserves to Repsol.

EUROPE

Aker BP (AKERBP NO)/Vaar Energi (VAR NO)/Shell (SHEL LN): Dry hole in Norway – The Rondeslottet exploration well was dry.

BlueNord (BNOR NO): Operating update in Denmark – Production in June to date was 44.5 mboe/d of which 21.7 mboe/d is from the base assets Dan, Gorm and Halfdan and ~22.8 mboe/d is from the Tyra hub.

Shell (SHEL LN): No deal with bp (BP LN) – Shell is not in talks to acquire bp. Shell has no intention of making an offer for BP.

Prospex Energy (PXEN LN): Equity raise for Spain – Prospex has raised ~£1 mm of new equity priced at 4.5 p per share. The proceeds will be allocated for the cash call for the Viura-1B well to fund the workover to resume production at the Viura field and to cover ordering long-lead items for the 2026 drilling campaign.

SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA

Afentra (AET LN): Potential new asset onshore Angola – Afentra has initialled a risk service contract concerning an operated interest in KON4 in the onshore Kwanza basin. Block KON4 covers 1,387 sqkm and is situated in a historically productive area of the onshore Kwanza basin, where 11 oil and 2 gas fields have been discovered and over 90 mmboe produced to date. The block features the Quenguela Norte field, estimated to hold over 200 mmbbl of discovered oil in place. The field achieved peak production of 12,000 bbl/d, with 42 mmbbl recovered before it was eventually shut-in and abandoned in 1999.

Helium One (HE1 LN): Helium resource update in Tanzania – Gross Helium 2C contingent resources at Itumbula have been estimated at 0.3 bcf. There are also 0.7 bcf U2 prospective resources.
