BGC Partners - TURKEY STRATEGY: Post Election & Post S-400 bets
There are two key events from Turkish equities’ perspective over the next month.The first one is Istanbul vote re-run which is scheduled to be held on June 23. The race between the two candidates appears to be still too close to call.The second one is Turkey’s potential acquisition of S-400 missile systems. There is a hectic agenda towards the end of June with Turkish and US defense ministers meeting at the NATO summit on June 26 and both presidents meeting at the G-20 summit on June 28.
