A popular event for Agilysys customers, the conference will be held Jan. 29-31, 2018 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and will feature thought-leadership sessions designed to help customers drive profitability by delighting guests, and inspiring passionate loyalty.
Inspire 2018 will kick off with guest speaker, baseball’s “Iron Man”, Cal Ripken, Jr. Ripken broke several professional baseball records during his 21 seasons, but none is as sacred as his consecutive-games-played record. Shattering Lou Gehrig’s streak of 2,131 games by more than 500, Ripken displayed perseverance, endurance, and an everyday work ethic that endeared him to fans, transformed him into a national icon — and some argue, even saved baseball at its darkest moment. An inspirational speaker, Cal Ripken, Jr. is the personification of leadership, commitment and excellence.
The three-day event will give attendees an opportunity to network with industry peers and share information about how to achieve success using Agilysys solutions for property management, point-of-sale, inventory and procurement, transaction payment, document management and more. In addition, the concurrent Agilysys Executive Summit will provide a special track for senior-level executives that features roundtable and panel discussions that address topics customers have identified as mission-critical to their businesses. And, to demonstrate the power of end-to-end hospitality solutions, a Partner Pavilion will showcase products that integrate with Agilysys software to deliver increased value across the property.
This year Agilysys will raise funds for Action Against Hunger, a global humanitarian non-governmental organization (INGO) that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger around the world.
In addition, this year’s event will add 2 optional activities:
- A golf event on Sunday, January 28, 2018, where attendees can mix business with pleasure at Bear’s Best Las Vegas. Bear's Best is a unique golf course made up of 18 holes hand selected by Jack Nicklaus from his 270 designs worldwide.
- A series of pre-conference product training sessions for Agilysys users.

An Inspire 2018 app, available for both Android and iPhone devices, will be released in early January. With the app, attendees can create personalized agendas and view session dates and times, speaker bios and exhibitor details. The early-bird registration fee, through Dec. 15, is $849 per person. Beginning Dec. 16, the registration fee will be $995 per person. Registration includes access to all educational sessions and events as well as breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks. Hands-on educational sessions are available for an additional fee. Agilysys is also offering a single-day pass for Tuesday, Jan. 30, or Wednesday, Jan. 31, for $695 per person. Organizations that send five or more attendees to the conference will receive a 10 percent discount.
Target audiences for the conference include senior executives as well as mid-level managers including information technology directors, hotel managers, food and beverage managers, revenue managers, reservation managers and front office managers.
