AXA, a leading financial protection company, announced today that Todd Solash, Head of the Individual Annuity business, has been promoted to head a new Legacy Book Management Business Unit, reporting to AXA US Chairman and CEO Mark Pearson.
In this new position, Solash will drive the strategic management of AXA’s Legacy Life and Annuity business.
“Todd successfully led the Individual Annuities business through an especially challenging market,” said Pearson. “He has been a pioneer in the industry for managing inforce books and coming up with innovative strategies for clients.”
Prior to joining AXA, Solash was a partner in the Insurance Practice of Oliver Wyman, a leading global strategy consulting firm focused on serving life insurers. In that capacity, he served insurers on a variety of strategy, product development and risk issues. Previously, he served on the executive committee of Jefferson National Life and in a variety of roles at that company.
Solash is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, with bachelor’s degrees in finance and chemical engineering.
