AXIS Insurance Names Tracy Harrington Cloud as SVP, Distribution and Broker Relations

AXIS Capital Holdings Limited (“AXIS Capital”) (NYSE:AXS) announced Tracy Harrington Cloud has joined AXIS Insurance as an SVP, International Distribution and Broker Management. Reflecting the company’s client-centric focus, Ms. Harrington Cloud’s role will include helping to further enhance distribution management services and offerings across AXIS’ global network of offices. Based in London, she reports to Terry Wood, EVP AXIS Insurance, and will work with Ed Ashby, EVP Global Head of Distribution, AXIS Insurance.

“Tracy is a proven leader with experience working in senior-level positions on both the broker and carrier sides of the business. Additionally, in her previous role at Marsh, Tracy was the dedicated relationship manager for AXIS, which gives her a strong understanding of our business and positions her to help shape our future strategy,” said Mr. Wood. “The addition of Tracy to the AXIS team in this dedicated role is a significant step forward as we further grow our business.”

Added Mr. Ashby, “Tracy will play an instrumental role in helping to enhance our efforts and further empower our team to provide the highest level of service to our clients. Adding someone with Tracy’s experience and capabilities directly reflects our commitment to advancing our global distribution strategy.”

Ms. Harrington Cloud brings 28 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry. Previously she worked for eight years at Marsh Ltd where, as Senior Executive, UK Insurer Consulting Group, she helped originate the function providing strategic services to global insurers. Prior to Marsh, she served as Client Relationship Manager at QBE insurance within its corporate division. Earlier in her career, Ms. Harrington Cloud held roles as a Senior Broker in the UK and North American reinsurance markets including positions at Cooper Gay & Co Ltd., Aon Re and Swire Fraser.
