Olin Brass Announces Complex Alloy Price Increase

GBC Metals, LLC, doing business as Olin Brass, is announcing price increases on its portfolio of high-performance and complex alloy products - which includes alloys C151, C155, C18080, C19010, C19020, C19025, C19210, C194, C195, C197, C19720, C272, C353, C411, C422, C425, C4252, C5118, C638, C654, C655, C688, C7025, C715, C725, C735, C752, C762, and C770.

The base fabrication charges will increase by $.10 per pound, with the more complex and cost intensive light gauge products (less than .015”) increasing by $.25 per pound. These price changes will allow Olin Brass to continue to invest in complex process capabilities and meet the increasing quality and service requirements on high-performance and complex alloy products. These increases are effective immediately with all new orders.

This announcement impacts all OEM commercial customers and all supply chain partners, including A.J. Oster and Olin Brass value added businesses. This announcement does not affect existing long term contracts, including three-party supply chain contracts.
