August 7, 2017--Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that during its fourth quarter of fiscal 2017, its Enterprise Technologies group, which is part of Comtech’s Commercial Solutions segment, received a $3.7 million order from a major U.S. mobile network operator for its advanced location platform supporting the customer’s 4G/LTE network. The order is part of a multi-year development, deployment and support contract valued at more than $7.0 million.
The Comtech platform enables precise and sophisticated location-based services for mobile operators leveraging an existing 4G/LTE network, enabling the ability to quickly acquire the position of satellites and calculate device location. Secure and completely standards-based, the Comtech solution assures interoperability across all device providers.
