Unison Industries Names Tom Hoferer as President & CEO

Unison Industries announces Tom Hoferer as Unison President and CEO to replace former President, Giovanni Spitale. Hoferer brings extensive commercial experience and exceptional skills in driving a customer-centric culture to his new role with Unison.

Hoferer has a wealth of supply chain, program management, services, and product support experience during his 25-year tenure in the industry. His former experience with GE Aviation includes roles in Business Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Business Operations, Marketing, and other direct customer-facing commercial positions.

Hoferer’s recent role as the Commercial Programs and Services Support leader for GE Aviation’s Business and General Aviation (BGA) segment gave him extensive global leadership and customer focus experience. Hoferer established a new BGA product support team that grew to 29 global service and support resources and 38 GE authorized service centers. He led his team to a No. 1 ranking in Product Support survey by Aviation International News (AIN) from 2015 to date.

"Giovanni has positioned Unison well in the industry,” Hoferer said. “I look forward to bringing new ideas to Unison, as well as leading our world-class team to continue focusing on our customers and delivering new innovations to the market quickly."
