Lonnie J. Stout II, President and Chief Executive Officer of J. Alexander’s Holdings, Inc., said the new Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill is located at 201 South Estes Drive and becomes the 12th in the Company’s collection. Nik Rogers is the restaurant’s general manager.

Stout said that Stoney River guests enjoy such offerings as a coffee-cured filet, bone-in rib eye and classic New York strip steak, as well as house specialties ranging from signature steak and biscuits to chicken, shrimp, sea bass and salmon.
“Our Stoney River menu is significantly broader than offered in most steakhouses,” Stout continued. “We place an emphasis on our hand-cut steaks while, at the same time, serving exceptional creative fare that includes seafood and other featured entrees from our menu. The full-service bar at the new Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill at University Place features hand-crafted cocktails and an award-winning wine list with over 30 varietals of wine by the glass and more than 120 bottles of wine.
The Stoney River Steakhouse and Grill consists of 7,900 square feet with seating for up to 225 guests. The restaurant employs an operating staff of approximately 80 full and part-time professionals and is open seven days a week for dinner and on Sunday for brunch. Operating hours are 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday.
