Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (NYSE:MMC), a global professional services firm offering clients advice and solutions in risk, strategy and people, announced today that Katherine J. Brennan has been appointed Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer. Ms. Brennan’s appointment is effective October 18, 2017.
Ms. Brennan will report to Peter J. Beshar, Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Marsh & McLennan, and be based in the Company’s New York headquarters. From 2008 to 2015, Ms. Brennan served in a number of leadership roles at Marsh & McLennan, including General Counsel of Guy Carpenter, Senior Corporate Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary. For the past two years, Ms. Brennan has served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at S&P Global Inc. (formerly McGraw Hill Financial).
