MEDNAX Leadership to Present at Becker’s Hospital Review 5th Annual CEO + CFO Roundtable

James D. Swift, M.D., Chief Development Officer of MEDNAX and Ann Barnes, President and CEO of MedData, a MEDNAX Company will be presenting The New Health Care Managed Service Organization: Just What the Doctor Ordered on Tuesday, November 8 from 11:45-12:25 p.m. Their presentation will address what Management Services Organizations (MSOs) can offer; why MSOs are important to hospitals and physicians; trends in physician services; and what challenges, needs and solutions MSOs can address.

James D. Swift, M.D., F.A.A.P. is a pediatric critical care physician and was the founder/CEO of Children’s Healthcare Network, a multi-state pediatric specialty platform which is now part of the MEDNAX Health Solutions Partner network. As MEDNAX’s Chief Development Officer, Dr. Swift is responsible for organic growth, business expansion and new service line development across MEDNAX’s nationwide network of physicians.

With more than 25 years of experience, he has established a consistent track record of enhancing healthcare services by understanding the complexities and importance of innovating healthcare service delivery to improve patient outcomes, control costs and ultimately achieve a sustainable competitive advantage.
