MetLife Expatriate Benefits Wins “Service Provider of the Year” During the 2017 EMMAs

MetLife Expatriate Benefits was awarded “Employee Benefits Service Provider of the Year” during the 8th annual Americas Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs) in Denver, CO. This is the third consecutive year MetLife has received this award along with a win in 2013.

The award is presented to companies who demonstrate a commitment to customer centricity and provide benefits to clients that go “above and beyond.” In 2016, the MetLife Expatriate Benefits team focused on building a culture of continuous improvement. The internal improvement process empowered employees to make decisions while truly listening to the voice of the customer – not just by asking for customer feedback and reacting to problems, but by dissecting, understanding, and implementing useful changes based on that feedback. This internal analysis now informs every interaction the MetLife Expatriate Benefits business has with clients, brokers, members, and its departments.

“We are thrilled to continue our winning streak with the EMMAs,” said Ann Deugo, vice president, MetLife Expatriate Business and Center of Expertise. “Our priority is to ensure that our services are consistently bringing value to our clients and winning an EMMA reinforces our commitment to excellence.”

The EMMAs, managed by the Forum for Expatriate Management, celebrates the best and the brightest of the global mobility industry, its supporting suppliers and vendors. The EMMAs are judged by an independent panel of industry leaders.

MetLife Expatriate Benefits has been providing personalized solutions for expatriates for nearly 60 years, making it one of the oldest companies to offer benefits programs to globally mobile employees. MetLife’s expatriate benefits products are underwritten by Delaware American Life Insurance Company, a MetLife affiliate domiciled at 600 North King Street, Wilmington, DE 19801, and other affiliates.
