MFS Announces Portfolio Management Change for MFS Intermediate Income Trust

MFS Investment Management® (MFS®) is announcing a change to the portfolio management team of MFS Intermediate Income Trust (NYSE: MIN) ("the Fund"), a closed end fund. Effective November 1, 2017, Erik Weisman will relinquish his portfolio management duties of the fund. Lead manager Geoffrey Schechter and manager Alexander Mackey continue to manage the fund. The portfolio management team continues to be supported by MFS' entire team of fixed income investment professionals.

Weisman remains a fixed income portfolio manager at MFS and his other portfolio management assignments are unaffected by this change.
