The local German court Goettingen (Amtsgericht) confirmed the appointment of Dr. Lothar Kappich as executor of Horst Sartorius’ will. This new appointment became necessary after the former executor, Professor Arnold Picot, Ph.D., had passed away on July 9, 2017. This executorship with a period of administration defined up to 2028 remains unchanged in undivided form and covers around 50.1 percent of the ordinary shares of Sartorius AG.

Lothar Kappich, who holds a university degree in economics, has been a member of the Sartorius Supervisory Board since 2007 and, likewise as successor to Prof. Picot, Chairman of this board since July 19, 2017.
