Tangoe Expands Logistics Facility to Serve the Expanding Managed Mobility Services Market

Tangoe, Inc. (NASDAQ:TNGO), a leading global provider of IT, Managed Mobility Services (MMS) and Telecom Expense Management (TEM) software and related services, today announced a five-fold expansion of its logistics center in Austin, Texas to serve the increasing demand for mobility solutions. The facility enables Tangoe to increase its logistics transactions from 10,000 to 50,000 per month, providing clients with scale and a faster time to market when deploying and repairing mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, IoT devices and other IT assets.

With the expanded facility, Tangoe has the scale to do large equipment refreshes, as well as on-site rapid repairs and device replenishments, enabling a one-stop shop for clients. The facility handles both forward logistics – where fully programmed devices customized to a particular customer’s requirements are processed and shipped as soon as overnight – and reverse logistics – where damaged or non-functional equipment can be replaced with exact replicates in the same rapid timeframe.

“We continue to expand our mobility solutions to better serve our clients while removing many of the complexities that prevent them from successfully mobilizing their businesses,” said Jim Foy, CEO, Tangoe. “The expansion of our logistics facility combined with our expertise and global coverage further solidifies our position as a leading provider of Managed Mobility Services.”

Tangoe’s global MMS solution is fully integrated and designed to optimize and manage the complete lifecycle of enterprise mobility including planning, activation, tracking, securing, supporting, and retiring the mobile fleet. Leveraging Tangoe’s leading telecom expense management capabilities, the expanded facility provides clients with a holistic approach to managing their mobile estate, from deployment to recycle and repair, and enables them to focus on strategic growth while overseeing their mobility programs. Tangoe has been recognized in October 2016 Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services, Worldwide for four consecutive years.
