TechTarget Lets B2B Tech Marketers Directly Inject Purchase Intent Insight into Marketo Workflows

Global marketing and sales services company TechTarget, Inc. (Nasdaq: TTGT) today announced that its Priority EngineTM purchase intent insight platform now integrates directly with Marketo to help B2B marketing teams better fuel marketing automation-based efforts by leveraging TechTarget’s deep purchase intent resources. Priority Engine provides direct, detailed access to ranked accounts and named prospects actively researching enterprise technology purchases in specific contextually relevant markets. This information is critical to marketing and sales organizations looking to increase their programs’ effectiveness.

Through the Priority Engine/Marketo integration, marketers can automate prospect uploads to their own customized Marketo instances, enabling them to quickly and easily support granular content marketing campaign activity, MQL/SQL nurturing, ABM and more.

“We are excited to provide our customers using Marketo with an easy way to leverage our purchase intent insight to expand their nurturing and other marketing activation capabilities. This quick and easy integration will help marketers achieve immediate impact as they look to build pipeline,” said Andrew Briney, senior vice president of products, TechTarget. “This is the first of our integrations with major marketing automation systems to be rolled out throughout the first half of 2017.”

Integration with Marketo will help marketers:

  • Optimize use of Marketo – Simply and easily boost outbound marketing and nurturing results with hundreds of new, fully validated prospects currently researching in-market purchases, delivered weekly through Priority Engine.
  • Better execute persona-based marketing programs – Through the Target Profile feature in Priority Engine, marketers can zero in on exactly the accounts and prospects they want to target based on named buyer behavior, account attributes or both. Marketers can customize marketing campaigns in Marketo to automatically execute against Target Profiles.
  • Seamlessly align with any nurture strategy – From the simplest to most sophisticated use cases, Priority Engine can enrich Marketo Smart Lists weekly.
  • Focus more on marketing strategy, less on administrative tasks – With contacts pre-aligned to Marketo Smart Lists and Nurture Campaigns, marketers can focus immediately on improving messaging and conversion instead of on setup tasks.
