TEGNA Inc. (NYSE: TGNA) today named Alicia Elsner president and general manager of KSDK in St. Louis, MO. Elsner had been director of sales at KSDK since 2009.

Elsner has spent 19 years with TEGNA Media, all of them at KSDK. She started as a marketing consultant in 1997 before being named director of business development in 2000. She then served as the station’s local sales manager for nearly six years before being promoted to director of sales. She began her career at KMOX/CBS Radio in St. Louis as an account executive.
Elsner serves on the Board of Trustees at Visitation Academy, where she is also President of the Alumnae Association.
A native of St. Louis, Elsner graduated from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Elsner and her husband have two children.
