MCH Professional Care Chooses Conifer Health to Deliver Comprehensive Physician Revenue Cycle Solutions

Conifer Health Solutions today announced a comprehensive physician revenue cycle management (RCM) services agreement with MCH Professional Care (MCH ProCare), a member of the Medical Center Health System (MCHS) that employs over 130 hospital- and clinic-based providers serving the residents of Odessa, Texas, and the surrounding 17 counties.

Under the agreement, Conifer Health will deliver a suite of solutions, including coding and clinical documentation improvement, accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up, contract management, underpayment identification and resolution, denial management, self-pay collections and customer service.

“With its industry-recognized and system-agnostic services, Conifer Health is the ideal health services company to manage our physician RCM services,” said Jon E. Riggs, senior vice president and chief financial officer of MCHS. “Its proven methodologies, repeatable processes and measurable performance metrics will drive both improved financial and operational performance. Moreover, they will enable us to better support our physicians and staff members as they focus on enhancing patient care in the communities we serve.”

Conifer Health’s deep roots and 30-plus years’ experience in revenue cycle operations enable standalone facilities, physician groups and healthcare systems to operate more efficiently by providing the systems and services they need to manage their populations, support better outcomes and lower the overall cost of care.

“As consumers become more engaged in the healthcare system, health systems are looking for ways to better manage their billing, collections and A/R processes through a single-source business partner,” said Allen Hobbs, president of Physician Services at Conifer Health. “Conifer Health’s comprehensive physician RCM services are helping entities like MCH ProCare address the complexities providers are facing with new payment models, shrinking reimbursements, expanded network coverage and other regulatory changes.”
