Alphawave Semi: CFO appointment, valuation
Alphawave Semi has announced the appointment of Rahul Mathur as CFO with effect from 30 October 2023. Mr Mathur has an extensive background in tech and as a CFO and looks very well qualified to fill the role which has been vacant since May. The appointment of Mr Mathur is in line with comments at the interim results that the search for a permanent CFO was progressing very well. Alphawave Semi's share price has been under some pressure since the results and the eruption of the events affecting Israel where Banias Labs is based. However, we understand that the company does not expect any impact on the launch of its opto-electronic products next year.
