Spectral MD - $4m funding for DeepView SnapShot® M
Spectral MD has been awarded $4m for the further funding of its DeepView SnapShot® M handheld device under development for the US military. The funding is to be provided by the Medical Technology Enterprise Consortium. This award follows a total of $1.8m in funding already provided by the Defense Health Agency toward the development of a handheld device with similar capabilities to Spectral MD's cart based DeepView SnapShot® technology and continues Spectral MD's ongoing success in gaining US government support for the development of its technologies specifically targeting burn evaluation but which have wider application, for example in the assessment of Diabetic Foot Ulcers.
