Vianet Group: FY24 trading update, strategic contract win
Vianet has published a positive trading update for FY24 with turnover up 7.6% to £15.18m, a 3.5 percentage point increase in gross margin YoY, and adjusted EBITA ahead of market expectations. Net debt continues to fall and closed FY24 at £1.52m (£2.1m at 30 September 2023), demonstrating strong free cash flow generation, even without the benefit of the £0.9m tax receipt received in 1H24, which augers well for a final dividend. The company reported a new contract with Wilcomatic Wash Systems, the UK's leading provider of commercial vehicle wash systems for petrol forecourts, marking a strategic contract win in a new vertical.Vianet Group is a provider of actionable management information and business insight created through combining data from its smart Internet of Things solutions and external information sources. Co. operates two business divisions: Smart Zones, which principally consists of beer monitoring business (including the U.S.) and gaming machine management services; and Smart Machines, which comprises vending machine telemetry and contactless payment solutions, as well as monitoring business primarily in the vending sector. Co. provides design, product development, sale and rental of fluid monitoring equipment and machine monitoring equipment, data insights and related services in these divisions.
