Akastor is a provider of products, systems and services to the oil and gas industry. Co. has three reportable segments: Engineering Solutions, which provides concept and front-end studies to oil companies; Product Solutions, which delivers oilfield products for the entire upstream value chain, from reservoir through processing and also includes Subsea, Drilling, Umbilicals and Process Systems; and Field-Life Solutions, which provides a range of services to increase oil and gas recovery from existing fields and extend the operating life of field assets. This segment also consists of two business areas: Maintenance, Modifications and Operations and Oilfield Services and Marine Assets.
Aker is an industrial investment company that exercises active ownership. Co. organizes its business activities in two segments: Industrial holdings and Financial investments. The industrial holdings comprise Co.'s ownership interests in Aker Solutions ASA, Kvaerner ASA, Det norske oljeselskap ASA, Ocean Yield ASA, Aker BioMarine ASA and Havfisk ASA. The financial investments comprise cash, real estate, investments in funds and other financial assets of Co. and holding companies, with the exception of industrial equity investments. Awilco Drilling is engaged in the ownership of offshore drilling rigs for use in offshore drilling operations, and to provide drilling services for oil and gas companies using these rigs. As of Dec 31 2016, Co. owned and operated two semi-submersible drilling rigs, the WilPhoenix and WilHunter, which both rigs used in the drilling of oil and gas wells in the U.K. sector of the North Sea.
CGG is a global participant in the geophysical seismic industry. Co. manufactures geophysical equipment and provides marine, land, and airborne data acquisition services. Co. also provides geosciences services, including data imaging, seismic data characterization, geosciences and petroleum engineering consulting services, and collecting, developing and licensing geological data. Co.'s clients are in oil and gas exploration and production industies. Co. divides its activities into four segments: Equipment, Contractual Data Acquisition, Geology, Geophysics and Reservoir (GGR), and Non-Operated Resources, including eight business lines, six Corporate functions, and four Group Departments.
Diamond Offshore Drilling provides contract drilling services to the energy industry around the globe. The company's fleet enables it to provide services in the floater market on a worldwide basis. Sevan Marine and its subsidiaries provide technology, design and engineering services to customers in the offshore oil and gas markets. Co. provides the characteristic, proprietary cylindrical hull design known as the Sevan design. Co. continues to focus on the design, engineering and project execution of floating units for offshore applications, with a main focus on floating, production, storage and offloading units, as well as floating, storage and offloading units and floating, liquefied, natural gas units.
Ocean Rig UDW is an international offshore drilling contractor providing oilfield services for offshore oil and gas exploration, development and production drilling and specializing in ultra-deepwater and harsh-environment drilling. Co. owns and operates two modern, fifth generation ultra-deepwater semi-submersible offshore drilling rigs, the Leiv Eiriksson and the Eirik Raude, five sixth generation advanced capability ultra-deepwater drilling units, the Ocean Rig Corcovado, the Ocean Rig Olympia, the Ocean Rig Poseidon and the Ocean Rig Mykonos and four seventh generation drilling units, the Ocean Rig Mylos, the Ocean Rig Skyros, the Ocean Rig Athena and the Ocean Rig Apollo.
Ocean Yield provides investments in vessels within oil-service and industrial shipping industry. Co. is a ship-owning company with investments in vessels on long-term charters.
Odfjell Drilling Ltd. (Odfjell Drilling) is an integrated offshore drilling and oil service company. The Company operates through three segments: Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (MODU), Drilling & Technology, and Well Services. The Mobile Offshore Drilling Units is responsible for operations of mobile drilling units fully or partly owned by the Company and units owned by other companies. It operates mobile drilling units in Norway, United Kingdom, Angola, Vietnam and Brazil. The Drilling & Technology segment is providing platform drilling, project management and engineering services. Drilling & Technology operates from offices in Bergen, Stavanger and Aberdeen. The Well Services segment is a provider of casing and tubing running services (TRS), drill tool rental and well intervention services to the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry. The Well Services are provided to onshore and offshore drilling operations in the North Sea, mainland Europe and Black Sea, among others.
Pacific Drilling is an international offshore drilling company committed to providing drilling services to the oil and natural gas industry through the use of high-specification rigs. Co.'s primary business is to contract its high-specification rigs, related equipment and work crews, primarily on a dayrate basis, to drill wells for Co.'s customers. Co. operates five drillships under client contract and has three drillships available. All of Co.'s drillships are self-propelled and dynamically positioned and have large carrying capacity. Co.'s five existing drillships are committed to work in the deepwater regions of the Gulf of Mexico, Brazil and Nigeria.
Petroleum Geo-Services is engaged in providing geophysical services and oil and gas production services. As of Dec. 31, 2001, Co. operated six Ramform design vessels in its marine seismic data acquisition operations.
Prosafe is a supplier of products and services in selected niches of the global oil and gas industry, specifically in the high end of the global offshore accommodation/service industry. Co.'s operations comprise a parent company and the business division Offshore Support Services, a global owner and operator of semi-sumbersible accommodation/service rigs. Co. owns 11 of 16 available units. These rigs serve charters with five units in the North Sea, five units in the Gulf of Mexico, and one unit in the Philippines. In addition, the division owns one jack-up accommodation/service rig.
Saipem is a global contractor with local presence in Africa, Central Asia, America, the Middle East and South East Asia. Co. provides engineering, procurement, construction and installation services; and engineering, procurement and construction services to the oil and gas industry, both onshore and offshore, with a focus on projects, including activities in remote areas, in deep waters and on projects that involve difficult gas or crude supplies.
Solstad Farstad is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in the operation of offshore service and construction vessels. Co.'s business is divided into three segments based on the different types of vessels: Anchor-Handling Vessels delivering services related to rig moves and anchoring of rigs and other devices at sea, Platform Supply Vessels delivering services relating to transportation of material to offshore installations and Construction Service Vessels delivering services relating to development of both sub sea and floating installations. As of Dec 31 2009, Co. operated a fleet of 50 wholly owned, jointly owned and leased vessels.

Ensco is an offshore contract drilling company engaged in providing offshore contract drilling services to the international oil and gas industry. As of Dec 31 2017, Co. owned and operated an offshore drilling rig fleet of 62 rigs. Co.'s rig fleet includes 12 drillships, 11 semisubmersible rigs, four moored semisubmersible rigs and 38 jackup rigs, including rigs under construction.
