Nexam Chemical Holding AB (Nexam) is a Sweden-based company engaged in the production of plastics. It develops technology and products that improve properties and performance of plastics, without changing the production technology of its customers. Nexam's operations are based on crosslinking, a heat-activated technology of linking multiple polymer chains by small molecules called crosslinkers. Its main products are additive closslinkers, Neximid and Nexamite, manufactured at production plant in Scotland, which are transported to plastic manufacturers to be added during the production process. Neximid series improves properties of polyimides and Nexamite crosslinkers are designed for other thermoplastics. Nexam's solutions serve electronics, aerospace, and pharmaceutical industries, among others. The Company is the parent entity of Nexam Chemical AB and its subsidiary, Nexam St. Andrews Ltd. Also, it operates masterbatch manufacturer Plasticolor Sweden AB as subsidiary.

Norwegian Air Shuttle is a low cost passenger travel airline. Co. operates both scheduled services and additional charter services. Co. has aircraft bases in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Spain and the U.K.

Petroleum Geo-Services is engaged in providing geophysical services and oil and gas production services. As of Dec. 31, 2001, Co. operated six Ramform design vessels in its marine seismic data acquisition operations.

Wealth Management performs asset management and private banking activities and Life provides life, care and pension insurance. Division Baltic provides retail, asset management and private banking services in the Baltic countries. Skanska is a project development and construction group, concentrated on selected home markets in the Nordic region, European countries and in the Americas. Co.'s business streams are: construction, which includes building and civil construction; residential development, which develops residential projects for immediate sale; commercial property development, which initiates, develops, leases and divests commercial property projects, with project development focusing on office buildings, retail and logistics properties; and infrastructure development, engaged in identifying, developing and investing in privately financed infrastructure projects, such as highways, hospitals and schools.
