A week with soft commodity prices

A notable week with Brent down 6%, NBP gas price down 11%, and DNO and Equinor underperforming on softer 2020 guidance. Equinor disappointed with 2020 production guidance 4–6% below consensus and the CMU gave us few reasons to change our muted view. DNO reported an in-line Q4, while 2020 capex and higher lifting cost guidance was above our expectations, albeit with only a minor cash flow impact due to the PSA structure. For this week, we are neutral ahead of Aker BP’s CMD as we forecast Q4 and 2020 broadly in line with consensus, and believe guidance of strong 2020e cash flow could ease investors’ dividend concerns.
