BioArctic has an innovative approach to developing disease-modifying drugs for Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Also, it is developing a treatment for spinal cord injuries. It has been successful in out-licensing projects and has two big pharma deals worth a combined USD1bn+ (cUSD140m of milestones so far). We initiate coverage with a BUY recommendation and SEK36 target price.BioArctic is a research-based biopharma company which is engaged in developing new innovative disease modifying treatments based in antibodies (immunotheraphy) for neurodegenerative disease (i.e. diseases where the nervous system degenerates) such as Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease and a treatment concept for complete spinal cord injuries (i.e. an injury where the spinal cord is completely broken).
