BrainCool is a Swedish-based medtech company in an early commercial stage. With only a few competitors in the field of surface cooling and a distributor partnership with ZOLL, we believe its growth journey is set to accelerate in 2025. We initiate coverage with a BUY and target price of SEK3.BrainCool AB (publ). BrainCool publ AB is a Sweden-based company active in the healthcare sector. It develops a medical device for therapeutic brain cooling. BrainCool publ AB uses a patented cooling method developed by Dignitana AB, the marker of the DigniCap System for the prevention of chemotherapy-related hair loss. The technology used in the BrainCool System allows cooling of the neck, which helps to speed perfusion and cooling of blood before it reaches the brain. The therapeutic hypothermia device is dedicated to patients suffering from stroke, cardiac arrest, traumatic brain injury or neonatal asphyxia. BrainCool publ AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dignitana AB.
