Elekta (Buy, TP: SEK143.00) - Summary of 2021 CMD
At its CMD on 7 June, Elekta launched a new long-term strategy called ACCESS2025 and announced a deepened partnership with Philips. No short-term guidance (fiscal 2021/22) was given. The longer-term financial guidance provided in conjunction with the Q4 report was reiterated, although some items remained unquantified (e.g. the extent of expected margin improvement). We believe that Unity, service, and software will remain important growth drivers. We reiterate our BUY and have adjusted our target price to SEK143 (135).Elekta AB is a human care company providing clinical solutions for treating cancer and brain disorders. Co. develops tools and treatment planning systems for radiation therapy including brachytherapy and radiosurgery, as well as workflow improving software systems across the field of cancer care. Co. has four product areas: Elekta Neuroscience, which develops solutions for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases; Elekta Oncology, which develops clinical solutions for radiation therapy, imaging systems and clinical solutions for patient positioning and immobilization; Elekta Brachytherapy, which is engaged in cancer treatment based on internal radiation; and Elekta Software.
