Mowi (Hold, TP: NOK205.00) - Q4 unlikely to be a trigger

We expect operating EBIT of EUR63m in Q4, ~30% below consensus of EUR89.5m (trading update due at 06:30 CET on 18th Jan). Management said it expects to book a EUR55m gain in Q4 from the sale of DESS Aquaculture, but we do not expect a dividend for the quarter. Although positive on the medium- to long-term outlook, we expect earnings to disappoint in Q4 and spot prices to remain weak in Q1 2021, and note the increased political risk following the loss of 10kt–12kt of harvest capacity in British Columbia (BC). While we reiterate our NOK205 target price, we have downgraded Mowi to HOLD (BUY) following stellar share price performance.
