After one year with market gains driven by multiples expansion, the market was unable to absorb the negative growth implications of the coronavirus outbreak. While history suggests this is unlikely to have a long-term negative effect on growth, we maintain our moderate underweight recommendation and prefer high-quality defensives relative to cyclical value stocks.
