Equities struggled in March, taking YTD performance into the red for most indices. Tightening financial conditions, softer macro data and concerns regarding increased trade barriers all weighed on performance. While macro data is no longer surprising to the upside, in absolute terms economic growth appears robust enough to support solid EPS growth.
