Odfjell (Buy, TP: NOK40.00) - Capturing the upturn
Odfjell sliced its COA coverage from 59% to 50%, enabling its vessels to capture the market upturn and lifting the Odfix index by 5.5%. We see this strategic move as a clear positive. Odfjell expects the transaction between Lindsay Goldberg and Northleaf to close by June, paving the way for accretive development projects on the Houston site. We have cut our 2019e EBITDA by 31%, to USD186m, due to IFRS16. We reiterate our BUY recommendation and NOK40 target price.Odfjell is engaged in the global market for transportation and storage of chemicals and other specialty bulk liquids, LPG/Ethylene products as well as a provider of related logistical services. Co.'s principal business is the transportation and storage of organic and inorganic bulk liquid chemicals, acids, animal fats, edible oils, potable alcohols, LPG/Ethylene and clean petroleum products. Co. has three reportable business segments: Chemical Tankers, which involve the servicing ports around the world; Tank Terminals, which engaged in cargo-consolidation programme in combined shipping and storage services; and LPG/ Ethylene, which Co. owns two carriers, Bow Guardian and Bow Gallant.
