Sparebanken Vest (Buy, TP: NOK112.00) - Still-solid profitability

Despite the market turbulence and somewhat elevated costs, SVEG reported a Q2 ROE of 12.1%, supported by strong core revenues. Driven by a ~7% increase in corporate lending, the bank’s solid growth momentum continued, while loan losses were again low as asset quality remained robust. Mainly due to higher NII and fee income, we have raised our 2023–2024e EPS by ~2% and, in turn, our target price to NOK112 (110). Given our 2023–2024e ROEs of ~12–13%, we continue to find the valuation attractive at a 2022e P/B of ~1.25x. Thus, we reiterate our BUY.
