Scandinavian Tobacco Group (Buy, TP: DKK177.00) - Set for tough comparables again
We expect STG to deliver a sequential improvement in Q2, but with organic growth still slightly down YOY due to tough comparables. We still believe it could achieve the higher end of its 2022 organic EBITDA guidance, but with the year set to be back-end loaded, it could be too early for it to narrow its guidance with the Q2 results. However, we believe it could lift its EPS guidance on FX tailwinds. We reiterate our BUY and DKK177 target price.Scandinavian Tobacco Group A/S is a Denmark-based company engaged in the manufacture of cigars and pipe tobacco. The Company also holds a position in the fine-cut tobacco category in the Scandinavian, the United States and other markets. The Company's portfolio contains more than 200 brands, including the Cigar brands Cafe Creme, La Paz, Macanudo, CAO, Partagas (the United States) and Cohiba (the United States); Pipe tobacco brands include Captain Black, Erinmore, Borkum Riff and W.O. Larsen, and Fine-cut tobacco brands include Bugler, Break, Escort, Bali Shag and Tiedemanns. The Company's sales offices are located in North America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia, and it has sales to more than 100 countries around the world.
